Sparkbees were creatures used by the Yuuzhan Vong. Originally a type of bee native to Yuuzhan'tar, sparkbees were used as the templates for the projectile biots that became the Thud, Razor, Snap, and Blast bugs. Sparkbees were also kept in their un-shaped form as well, as their honey was considered a delicacy. However, their populations were heavily controlled, as the honey was flammable, and was especially dangerous to Vonduun crab armor.
