Despair is a boss in Final Fantasy Dimensions and the first of the Blades of Nil to be faced. It is found within the World of Despair through the Dark Gate. It terrorizes the people of Castle Lux by robbing them of their hope. The party encounters the creature who explains its nature as one of the Blades of Nil. The party battles the monster and emerges victorious, restoring hope to the land.
