Fungus the Bogeyman is the husband of Mildew, the father of Mould and the main protagonist of the 1977 book of the same name by Raymond Briggs. He also appears in two TV adaptions of the book, the first one aired on CBBC in 2004 and the second on Sky 1 in 2015. Fungus lives underground in Bogeydom with his family that consists of his wife Mildew, their teenage (100 in bogey years) son Mould (and in the 2004 series, their daughter Mucus) and serval other Bogeys and every night for his job, comes above land to scare Drycleaners (Bogey name for humans).
