On Stardate 53551.3 (July 20, 2376), the Godel was assimilated by the Borg Collective while defending Starbase 612. When the USS Enterprise-E restored the base and restored the derelict defense fleet, the Borg sent the USS Godel and other assimilated Starfleet ships to attack. Enterprise and the defense fleet successfully held their ground and went on to eliminate the Borg presence in the system.
