Not much is known about the elves, but from the comic it can be inferred that at least some of the tribes gain bonuses in forest terrain. Further, the monikers of the tribes are apparently indicative of the members; the tardy elves run late, the eager elves are raring to go, and the superfluous elves are unneeded.
