Firebead's Scroll is a side quest in the Baldur's Gate Prologue. Like other side quests in the prologue, its purpose is more to teach the mechanics of the game than to earn the meagre rewards available at this stage. Inside the Candlekeep Inn you will find Firebead Elvenhair. He has lent a scroll to a scholar, Tethtoril, near the Candlekeep central area and wants you to retrieve it. Do so for a small reward: a Healing Potion and 50 xp. Firebead also casts a Protection from Evil spell on you as part of the reward.
