"Little Tom Pickthorn was a Hobbit who lived in Breeland during the Third Age. The son of Amy and Bill Pickthorn, Tom was a member of the Pickthorn clan that settled in Bree for more than few hundred years. He spent most of his life as an orphan and was known to not wanting to have anything to do with strangers.He was eventually killed by Saruman's Ruffians in the Battle of Bree.
