The [] (tingling shield when unidentified) is a shield that is randomly dropped. In Elona+, it's a guaranteed drop from the insect master. Appears as a reward for Hunting and Challenge quests, as well. It gives a high damage bonus to both melee and ranged physical attacks, and cuts enemies that physically attack its wearer. However, it gives a lower PV bonus than typical shields, so a wearer will also take more damage unless they wear other strong armor and train their Shield, and Light, Medium, or Heavy Armor skills.
