Grinning Burus is a figure of folklore and legend. He is described as a stooped-over creature with matted hair and a pair of horns jutting from his forehead. His nose is long and hooked, and is always portrayed with a grotesque grin for which he is named. His origins vary depending on who you ask, being born in anything from dead livestock to a bandit's boot. He enjoys scaring carriage drivers and stealing children and livestock, but can be warded off with anything made of iron. The Church of True Light supposedly banished the Burus sometime in the 1st century ATA.
