This seven part story, written by Kris Overstreet, Larry Mann, Martin Rose, Rob Shannon, and Benjamin Hutchins, takes place mostly in the end of the Exile era. The story actually jumps back and forth in time between a Then and a Now. The Now mostly takes place in the end of the Exile, in the year 2388, and tells the part that the CFMF has in, and before, the final battle with GENOM. The Then portions move around in time between 2001 and 2388 and are mostly used as background for some of the situations in the Now portions.
