The Porsche 356 1500 is a revised variant of the 356 that features an increased engine displacement. Brakes were upgraded to larger drums and introduced the tradition of the Porsche crest on the steering wheel. It was one of the few cars in its day to exceed 100 mph (161 km/h). A Super variant was later made available.
