Hiroaki Kanbara was the father of Takuya and Shinya. Little was known about him, since he was only once seen namely as Takuya, then Flamemon, came into the real world. Hiroaki and Yuriko celebrated the birthday of their second son Shinya at the end of the Digimon Frontier. He died of Lymphoma when Takuya was thirteen and when Shinya was ten.
