In Valkyria Chronicles Duel, Bosses are powerful AI-controlled units that players randomly encounter after normal battles against other players. Bosses tend to have a large amount of HP and assistance from multiple players are often required to take them down. To participate in a boss battle, Ammunition Points (弾薬) are needed. Depending on how many points you use, your unit gain a certain power up. Difficult as they are, boss battles often give rich rewards to players who took part in defeating them.
