Whenever you acquire 50 lays during a single round, you begin to have a small chance of getting venereal disease, or VD as it appears in the Daily News, every day you log in to the realm. If you get a VD, then you will recieve a message about having to go to the healers to be cured, and the game will randomly select one of a handful of diseases for you to have contracted, including AIDS, gonorrhea, and chlamidia.
