Team Kumiko is a squad of shinobi from Amegakure. They were assigned to the same team as Genin under the tutelage of Kumiko Maeda. They became close friends, and after the Amegakure civil war, Makoto, Ryu and Reina left Amegakure for Kirigakure, while Kumiko stayed behind to attempt to use her high standing to bring about change in the village and await her students' return.
