The Omni-Proto was created to test the DNA sampleing design on the Omnitrix. The Omni-Oroto is smaller than the Omnitrix and has a lighter black color. Instead of the usual green color it gives off a light blue color. Unlike the Omnitrix that holds 1,000,000 aliens, the Omni-Proto holds 100 at a time. The original function for the Omnitrix is that DNA would be put from on from the Omni-Proto through a downloadable sequence. This bug was eventually fied my Azamuth.
