After the Bright Horizons scandal, Dr. James Eddings took his research and fled to Odysseus, where he found patronage with Lord Fagin. It was there that Eddings created the Legion Virus, which transforms ordinary sentients into mindless, steel-skinned reptiloid warriors. It was modelled off of the super-secret work he did for the Stellar Consortium in making super-soldiers to combat the Nall. Eddings was able to keep himself alive for almost 400 years using constant dosage of mutated strains of the Legion Virus that he created.
