Cape Hill was a large council estate in Smethwick, Sandwell. It consisted of two large tower blocks; Aiken House and Hamilton House. These have been demolished. Phase 1 of the estate was approved in 1968. There were more tower blocks in Cape Hill which I think were demolished long beofre Aiken and Hamilton. I recall the names as being Murdock/Murdoch & Bolton Court off Corbett Street. They were set facing each other in a court yard style and were about 7/8 floors I lived here as a young child in the 1970's. I think they were demolished in the mid 1980's.
