Arkel was a character on Xena: Warrior Princess. He was the servant of Malthus, who was working for Sinteres behind Malthus' back, when he stole the Ark of the Covenant. This eventually led to his death, when both Malthus and Sinteres were killed, and he chose not to listen to Xena's advice about the Ark and it killed him as a result. He was played by Mark Raffety.
