The Homing spider droid was a massive combat walker that was used as an anti-vehicle weapon by the Separatist Confederacy. It had a turbo laser turret and retractable ion cannon above and under its spherical head. These features made the Spiders both intimidating and dangerous forces on the battlefield. The Spiders traveled on four long allowing it an excellent field of fire against infantry but made the unit rather slow moving.
