Construction of the Heavy lifter was finished in early 2551 CE, and it was tasked to transport supplies and provisions between the Inner Colonies surrounding Earth. During the Battle of New Jerusalem, the Heavy lifter came into the system to provide the defenders on the ground with supplies and fire support if need be. It's two Pelican Dropships managed to transport some supplies down to the surface, but never made it back up in one piece. The ship took heavy damage and was forced to retreat from the battle. It sat out the two battles fought on Earth, and was attached to the 8th Fleet in 2553 CE, a few months after the war ended. It has been commanded by Captain John Hudson the entire time.
