In 1998, Goodman was nominated for an Artios Award from the Casting Society of America for Best Casting for Feature Film, Independent for the romance French Exit (1995) which featured Mädchen Amick and Molly Hagan. Beside her work on Star Trek, Goodman worked as casting associate on the comedy Born in East L.A. (1987), the drama Powwow Highway (1989), and the action film Renegades (1989). On all three films she worked for casting department head Junie Lowry with whom she also worked on The Next Generation.
