TDW (Gesellschaft für verteidigungstechnische Wirksysteme) is the European leader in the development and manufacture of warheads for guided weapons. The company was founded in 1994 and has approximately 120 employees based at its site in Schrobenhausen, Germany. TDW is a 100% subsidiary of MBDA Deutschland GmbH and part of the European guided weapon company MBDA. TDW was identified as one of few assets of "Critical Infrastructure and Key Resources" of the USA on foreign territory in a diplomatic cable leaked to WikiLeaks.
