John Fluevog is a Canadian shoe designer. He is primarily known for the art-deco inspired shoes and the "messages" of the shoes engraved on the soles. He opened his first store in 1985. He became more popular by the 1990's. In 2002, he created the website Open Source Footwear, where regular people can design shoes, only some of which get made.
