Don't Come Around Here No More is themed around Alice in Wonderland. Dave Stewart appears as the caterpillar at the beginning, sitting on a mushroom with a hookah water pipe. Tom Petty is The Mad Hatter, and actress Wish Foley plays Alice. By the end of the video, Alice's dress which has been turned into a cake is eaten by Petty and her own friends after she awakens from her terrible dream.
