A pure beef NPH/isophane suspended insulin formerly made by Eli Lilly. Like all other isophane/protamine suspended insulins, it was a crystalline suspension with protamine and zinc. The currently marketed equivalent is Hypurin Bovine Isophane, made by CP Pharma.
