The IKS Amar was a Klingon K't'inga-class battle cruiser that was in service with the Klingon Imperial Fleet in the late 23rd century. In 2273, the Amar and two other vessels intercepted the V'Ger cloud as it traversed Klingon space. Upon contact, the Amar and its sister ships were vaporized by the energy cloud, taking the three ships, and their crews, out of existence.
