The Battle of Ekoshii, took place on 3,936 BBY on a planet in the Outer Rim called Ekoshii. It served as the trigger for the Manipulated War, when the Sith and Separatists had to defend themselves from the Republic looking into their affairs (which was building a massive army). The Republic, only having one warship, amazingly held out until more reinforcements arrived. They had a lot of support from the indigenous species and their own army. It took at least 5 hours for the Republic reinforcements to arrive, by that time most of the droids had been deactivated, due to the loss of the droid power core, and the Sith had retreated. Admiral Cede called this the luckiest battle ever. He was deadly wrong.
