The 1992 Los Angeles riots, also known as the Rodney King riots, were a series of riots, arsons and lootings that occurred in Los Angeles, California in 1992. The riot spread out and is considered to be one of the worst riots in US history. The riot started on April 29 after a trial jury acquitted four police officers of the L.A Police Department.
