The Settler is one of the first units that's buildable in Call to Power II. Some others are Warrior, Axe Man (Berzerker), and various colored Clubmen. Many units in the game can perform the Build city task from Sea Engineer to Urban Planner. Custom units included Original Settler as an extra unit. Other expansion packs included the Land-Space Engineer (Combat engineer). The basic settler consisted of a man and a donkey carrying the man's tools, moving around the world map as nomads. In Civilization: Call to Power the settler was a nomad with no donkey and all he had was a shovel.
