Sotak was a male humanoid Starfleet officer in the 24th century. In 2361, he was attached to Starfleet Intelligence, and held the rank of Lieutenant Commander. That year, he was in charge of an operation to capture suspected traitor Erril G'Doh in the act of giving Federation secrets to a Cardassian agent on planet Iban. Unfortunately, G'Doh never came to Iban, instead being arrested on Deneva. (NF - No Limits short story: "Waiting For G'Doh") Sotak's species is never specified. However, his webbed fingers and appreciation of Zak Kebron's blunt attitude tend to suggest he was a Zaldan.
