Aaron Dingle (né Livesy) is the son of Chas Dingle and Gordon Livesy. He is also the half-brother of Liv Flaherty. Aaron's earliest storylines mainly consisted of his being involved with the criminal McFarlane family. After this, the character has been involved in several of the most high-profile storylines in Emmerdale, including: making a pass at his best friend, Adam Barton; coming to terms with his homosexuality; attempting suicide; his relationship with Jackson Walsh; helping Jackson commit suicide and subsequently self harming over the grief and guilt.
