The character's level for determining animal companion increases by 3 up to the character's total level. For example a 10th level druid with this feat gains no bonus, but a 5th level druid/ 5th level fighter would have a companion as if they were an 8th level druid. Use: Automatic. This allows rangers and multi-classing druids and clerics (who have the animal domain) to have more powerful companions than they otherwise would without the feat.
