The Republic Prison Block South was a cell block in the southern side of the Carbonite Prisoner Storage section of the Minimum Security Section, a sector of the Belsavis prison facility on the planet Belsavis. During the invasion of Belsavis in the Galactic War, the Crisis Response Unit worked to secure the block and prevent the release of the carbonite-frozen prisoners in the block, but Imperial forces overran the cell block.
