Adam Clendening (born October 26, 1992) is an American ice hockey defenceman who is currently playing for the Boston University Terriers men's ice hockey team which competes in NCAA's Division I in the Hockey East conference. Clendening was raised in Wheatfield, New York. He was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2nd round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. He had been ranked 45th overall among draft eligible prospects by Central Scouting and 45th overall by nhl.com. Prior to playing for Boston University, he played hockey in Canada for the Toronto Marlboros' AAA junior team.
