Thomas-Kolakowski and Rob Bloch were the trainers who worked with the four cats Monster, Brandy, Bud, and Tyler who portrayed Spot during the sixth and seventh season of The Next Generation. The two and Kelli Cole also worked as trainers for Monster, Brandy, Spencer and Zoe on Star Trek Generations. In 1995 , Thomas-Kolakowski teamed up with John Baldwin as trainers for the spawn beetles in the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Elogium" .
