James Hunt Emerson (born 28 January 1952, Newcastle upon Tyne) is a cartoonist for the Beano comic. One of his most noted strips is Little Plum. He studied fine art at Birmingham, but dropped out after one year, and got involved in underground comics, working various day jobs and drawing at night. In 2006, he created the later strip, Ratz, as well as drawing The Three Bears later on.
