The Long-Sabbath Perennial Calendar is a calendar reform suggrested by Rick McCarty, in 1996. It ensures there are exactly 52 weeks in each calendar year by extending a Saturday and the following Sunday to 36 hours each at the end of a year. In a leap year this is also done in February to avoid the need to add a leap day.
