MilGov (or Military Government) is headed by the Joint Chiefs of Staff. It was created by General Jonathan Cummings, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who refused to recognize the constitutional validity of the election of Senator John Broward as Speaker of the House of Representatives, and by default President of the United States. General Cummings then declared a continuation of martial law, thus creating MilGov. Many active duty will be actively or passively supportive of MilGov.
