Following the expulsion of Liliana Stanton Blatch from the Baltusian Labour Party, Lorraine Tizya-Elias, a judge, was nominated as the next leader of the party. Over the next 37 years, Tizya-Elias worked to revitalize the party. In the April 2744 elections, Lorraine Tizya-Elias claimed 28% of the vote in her bid to become Praetor. Praetor Franco Di Benedetto won 59%. The party also claimed 117 seats. The party won 29.25% of the seats, compared to the 8% they won in the 2708 elections.
