The one-ton (2200 lbs) AGM-7 Starfire is a heavy air-to-ground missile (ATGM) designed for strategic bombing. It is effective against a wide range of tactical targets, including armoured vehicles, air defences, ships, ground transportation, and fuel storage facilities. It mounts a so-called HEI (High Explosive Incendiary) warhead, which is effective against all possible land targets, barring an AT-AT.
