Ernie and His Merry Monsters and Other Good-Night Stories includes a version of the Robin Hood story, as well as "The Big Bad Grouch" and "Cookie Crumbs." Unlike most of the Good-Night Stories series, the stories all have a connecting theme, dealing in one way or another with characters mimicking behavior from familiar storybook tales.
