Kate Lock appeared on Coronation Street in May 1981 as Sue Jackson. She and her husband Colin were neighbours of Brian and Gail Tilsley at Buxton Close. Her other credits include roles in Jackanory Playhouse, Angels, Penmarric, Bergerac, Troublemakers, Casualty, The Bill and the films The Russia House, The Land Girls, Great Expectations and Closed Circuit. On stage she has appeared in productions of Hobson's Choice, Five Finger Exercise, Oliver, Butley, Present Laughter, Joking Apart, Tuesday's Child, The Decameron, The Winter's Tale, Tinkers Wedding and 'Once a Catholic.
