Satanism is the worship of Satan as revealed by Yeshua Ben Shaytan. Its central tenet is "Might is Right" and propose an individualistic approach to enlightenment. The religion arose around the 3rd decade after the beginning of the Satanist Era (SE). It entered in conflict with polytheistic Rome which refused to recognised a single deity. Due to persecution, the satanists went underground but slowly absorbed the roman mystery cult of Lucifer (the light bringer) until it had become one of the most influential cult of the Roman Empire.
