Sammy "Samuel" Starock is the DJ of the Rockstar Radio radio station in Anywhere City in Grand Theft Auto 2. He claims that he gets bombs in the mail, and that he is "the worst racist there is". His mother calls the station, complaining that he doesn't have "a real job", much to Starock's annoyance, he says the people that work with him are "morons" and "jackasses" but he doesn't work with idiots. His name may be a reference to GTA developer Sam Houser and Rockstar Games (Star+Rock).
