This battle, the Battle of Point Caliuval, was the first battle in the Cerci Colonization War, and was the first victory for the Galactic Empire in this War. The battle was a rather costly one for the Empire, many troops like Ariunal Varilaus were required to evacuate veteran troops which were injured in-battle. Many were tasked with bringing the veterans to shuttles to evacuate them. Privates were sent to secure the top of the hill, many recruits like Darval Talarius and Fedinand Valerius were injured during the process, but eventually succeeded. Many of the Ar'lian forces were killed due to an AT-ST walker.
