The SS Artemis was a transport vessel lost near the Demilitarized Zone in 2374. The Artemis was actually commandeered by Ben Bartholomew and the survivors of a Klingon attack on Cervalis V. It crash-landed on Korvair VII, where it was discovered by the USS Pendragon in 2379. (Star Trek: Pendragon: "L'Morte d'Maquis")
