Kar-Tela was the only Klingon god to survive the purge. She is destiny, which no warrior can defeat. According to legend, she appears as a female in ancient armor. In her right hand, she holds a ch'tak over her head. In her left, she bears an earthenware cup. In the cup is either poison or water. A warrior's fate is in the cup, but any who try to fight will lose. After Martok defeated Morjod, he erected a statue of Kar-Tela on Qo'noS, giving her the face of Sirella.
