The Sumatran Space Defense Force, abbreviated SSDF, was the space component of the Sumatran Republic Defense Forces. It had a fleet of roughly a hundred vessels that saw action during the Kamkodian-Sumatran War, where the Republic fought the Kingdom of Kamkodia. The SSDF had well trained personnel, advanced equipment, and good ships, but lost more in the war to the Royal Kamkodian Navy. It ended up being a draw.
