The Nank Fly was an unusual kind of creature that was known to carry some diseases that may prove harmful or even fatal to Humans but harmless to Ugnaughts. They could be found in abundance on the Ugnaught Surface due to an Alderaanian transport crashing there. They were also a nuisance by the Ugnaughts. Chefs and Ugnaughts describe Nank larvae as a rare delicacy, often being flash-fried, and was one of the most popular items on the menu at Zavlabar's Gentes Grill.
